The apartment is available for short term vacation stays or long term occupancy, and is promoted by a number of different local and international agencies and online booking platforms. Our rates on various platforms differ, but the prices on our website – this one – are cheaper because we don’t charge fees, percentages, or agency costs.

FIRST BEDROOM

The apartment is cleaned carefully and prepared for your arrival by us personally, and we will be there to greet you. We provide a full set of bed linen, bathroom towels, and kitchen clothes for the duration of your stay, and the kitchen has a full set of cooking, eating, and dining utensils. You will also find basic bathroom toiletries, laundry detergents, and a simple assortment of kitchen essentials and condiments.

FIRST BATHROOM

There are numerous bars, cafés, and restaurants in the area, and for kitchen supplies and food there are a number of supermarkets, including a Carrefour Express which is open 24 hours a day. There are many available public transport options, with bus stops on the piazza, a taxi stand and tram stops right in front of the building, and a metro station a short walk to the other side of the Colosseum.

The building and its apartments were designed and built in 1870 by the famous architect Ettore Bernich, who also built the Roman Aquarium and a number of palaces throughout the city. Historians have also discovered that the famous philosopher Seneca lived on the same site, and rather more recently the building was used in the Italian film “La Grande Bellezza” (The Great Beauty), which won the Academy Award in 2013 for Best Foreign Film.
